Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopement | Bethany + Noah
Bethany + Noah’s Elopement at the Santa Barbara Courthouse
Through making plans with and learning about this venue, Bethany and Noah decided to make their day very special and intimate with just a few of their close friends, one of them being the officiant, and myself as the photographer for their sweet elopement at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse.

Venue: Santa Barbara County Courthouse, Santa Barbara, California
Address: 1100 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara, California
Eloping at The Santa Barbara Courthouse
Because of our small group, we were able to just choose a spot on the front courtyard of the courthouse off of Anacapa Street and have the ceremony there. Their ceremony was short and heartfelt with them sharing their vows, a ring exchange, and first kiss. It was a beautiful moment and they also had a live video recording on site too to be able to include friends and family that couldn’t make it in person.
The Love Story | Bethany & Noah
These lovebirds have the sweetest story and it’s easy to see how madly in love they are and how they care so much for each other. Bethany’s mom was the matchmaker in introducing these two as she used to host Airbnb out of her home in Kansas City.
In the summer of 2021 Bethany’s mom was begging her to visit her three renters who were her age and Noah happened to be one of them. There were lots of group hang outs; rock climbing, jazz clubs, dancing, and hosting a surprise birthday party for him later before he went home to California.
The next summer the lovebirds started talking on Instagram and then moved to texting, calling, video chat movie watching dates. Finally, in February of 2023, Bethany flew out to LA and they decided to do long distance. The rest is history from that point on. Fast forward one year and these two tied their knot in February of 2024 in Santa Barbara near where Noah attended college.

Around the Santa Barbara Courthouse
After the ceremony Bethany and Noah and I had planned to get some photos around the courthouse and we took full advantage of each stunning corner and backdrop around this beautiful building. There were so many stunning rooms, artwork, murals, and just so much history throughout the courthouse that gave us some moody natural light. It was so fun to explore each room together. These two are such a beautiful couple and made it so easy to capture their love on camera.

This day felt like a dream. It was so special and these two made their elopement their own and had so much with their closest friends involved.
