Thank you for checking out my blog! I love sharing all my photography expertise and inspiration with you to make planning your photoshoot seamless for you.
Hey! I'm a plant-lover, house project DIY-er, traveler, cat mom, boba-loving, photographer....and now...your go-to gal for all things weddings & capturing your story. I'm so glad you're here!
Short answer, yes! While I am a big fan of documenting the day as it is, to do that having the extra time to create candid and real moments is necessary to have time scheduled in for breaks, visiting with your guests, and anything else rather than not having enough time for everything you wanted to include in your day. For those who are not Type A, I’d consider having a planner in your day or recruiting your super organized bff or family member for help too! Having everything planned out in the timeline of the day will make everything flow nicely and give you time to spare!
The Timeline.
I won’t lie, it’s intimidating. But unfortunately, it’s also pretty important, so I’m here to help! This is a sample timeline of the photography of the wedding day that includes a first look and has the ceremony starting at 4:00 pm and the sunset at 8:00 pm. Of course, it’s not a one size fits all, so feel free to talk to me about the specifics of your day! I’ll help work it out, and we can decide how long you want me to be there to make sure we capture everything you want. Your timeline will also depend a lot on the season because we need to take into consideration the amount of daylight that we have if you’d like to do more portraits outdoors.
