It is no simple task to find the perfect space for your wedding. Look no further than Monick Yards: your perfect modern venue space in downtown Sioux Falls. The space is very elegant, clean, and has everything you could need or want for a wedding day celebrating with all your favorite people. I love visiting this space and had so much fun working with the owners and some of the best local wedding vendors to showcase this beautiful venue. This venue is so versatile and we were able to quickly show off how the space looks for a wedding ceremony and fun reception.
Venue Location: 605 E 8th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103
This industrial, elevated venue covers 12,000 square feet of space located in the expanding downtown Sioux Falls. The space is the perfect location for any corporate events and a modern styled wedding. The venue includes a separate Grand Hall and Reception Hall, built-in bar, and a private bride and groom suite. With a capacity of 320 guests, this modern space is perfect for hosting a medium-large sized wedding. I love this venue for its downtown location, the elegant design throughout the venue, and tons of beautiful spots for photos with plenty of natural light. The venue is also unique with it being wheelchair accessible throughout the space.
Venue: Monick Yards
Photographer: RCC Photography
Planning: RCC Photography, Photo Wild Honey
Florist: 605 Florista
Makeup: Megan Bertsch Beauty
Hair: Arielle the Vice Studio
Cake: Sugar Palace by Emily
Dress, jewelry, & veil: Marie & Marie Bridal + Ellie Stone Bride
Suit: JH & Sons Menswear
Rentals: Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals
Models: Grayson, Houston, Samantha, Amanuel
I reached out to Amy, one of the venue owners about doing a styled shoot to showcase the new venue with some ideas that Photo Wild Honey and I had and from there the planning took off. The goal of this styled shoot was to show off the modern and industrial space with two different bridal styles: one more intimate ceremony and another that included more of a bridal flash session with some timeless reception images. We contacted some of the very talented local wedding and event vendors and organized a group of experts to create stunning colorful florals, classic gowns, and a timeless wedding scene. This shoot gave us imagery that promotes the high-end venue and a chic style.
I would be happy to capture the beautiful and sentimental moments that make up your wedding at the Monick Yards wedding venue. Fill out my contact form linked here to get in touch.
